But Opticomm will generally be alright. Opticomm HFC is ass (but unless you're in some random estate in WA, it is unlikely to be Opticomm HFC). There are providers that do Opticomm, like Aussie Broadband and Launtel. Their gigabit 1000/50 option appears as only $4.10 a day (~$124.70 per month). I think this maybe one of the cheapest options around if you want gigabit speeds on the Opticomm network.
