Since the introduction of Jacqueline Fawcett’s (1984) nursing metaparadigm, it has been a stronghold in nursing curricula as the main philosophy of nursing. WebOntology is concerned with the nature of reality. Given the complexity of the world within which nursing research is conducted, researchers using qualitative methodologies have had to grapple with this issue.
