Self-build is a traditional form of housing supply in many parts of rural Scotland and the islands and at times, the only form of housing supply. However, it has become increasingly difficult to obtain self-build mortgages. WebThis information leaflet provides information about the Highland Self Build Loan Fund (HSBLF). The fund is available from 1/4/2016 to 31/3/2024. Applicants may submit applications at any point between these dates, however please be aware that it make take up to six weeks before a decision is made on your application.
